Project to bring all health authorities together into one learning system.

Learning Hub aims to replace CCRS by migrating all CCRS users into a more modern and robust architecture system. The goal is to have all BC health authorities managed by PHSA, which will make user data management easy and efficient. It is currently being developed and will launch in 2017.

New Manager Orientation

New online course for new managers

New Manager Orientation is a Moodle course currently in development for new managers. This course will allow managers who are new to the role to become familiar with the role of being a manager, the resources available to them, learn about the organization, and team development.

The new course is designed to be responsive and user-friendly, and developed using the latest technology (Articulate Storyline 2) for fluid, interactive content. Currently in development.

Portal for all manager resources

Manager resource centre brings together resources that help managers in the organization stay productive. All types of information, from benefits & pay to HR reporting, is aggregated into one web portal where managers can easily access them.

Design by our Online Learning Design team, it is currently being developed by IMITS.

LeadRX App

Mobile and web training tool for leaders

LeadRX is an Ionic mobile app and Moodle website developed for employees in leadership roles. It allows users to access videos, documents, and other resources that help users become better leaders and managers. The mobile app can be downloaded here, and it supports multiple platforms (Android, iOS, BlackBerry). For those who prefer the web version, just go to http://vchleadrx.ca/

Moodle Team Sites

Web sites for team communication

Team sites are websites for medical and corporate teams within VCH, such as the VGH Emergency Department and the LBMT physicians. Teams can request our team for a website, where they can communicate to members, make announcements, access resources (documents, guidelines, videos), go through education/training modules, and much more. Online learning and training for employees

Our online courses, such as "Respectful Workplace" shown above, are accessed by thousands of employees through CCRS. The courses are designed, developed, and tested by our team to provide an engaging learning experience for the organization. Requests to develop new courses can be made to learnwithus@vch.ca
